Dr. Sarah Pickett, R.Psych

DIRECTOR
Sarah is a registered psychologist in Newfoundland and Labrador, a licensed psychologist in California, and an associate professor of counselling psychology at Memorial University Newfoundland. She has a doctorate in clinical psychology and a masters in marriage family therapy. She’s been in practice for over twenty years and has significant experience in fostering conversation about eating problems, attention regulation struggles, couplehood (Gottman Method informed), sexuality and gender transitioning support with individuals and families. She uses a collaborative, narrative and affirmative approach.

Dr. Jeff Cunningham, R.Psych

ASSOCIATE & CLINICAL SUPERVISOR
Jeff earned a Masters in Counselling Psychology (MS) from the University of Kentucky, and a Doctorate in Clinical Psychology (Psy.D.) from Argosy University in Minneapolis. He is a Licensed Psychologist in Kentucky and a Registered Psychologist in Newfoundland. He practiced for one year with the Memorial University of Newfoundland Counselling Centre and in 2001 helped found the Bridges Program at Eastern Health, a psychotherapy service for young people at risk for suicide and other immediate problems. A trauma specialist, he has also practiced extensively with adolescents and adults searching for balance and direction in many forms. Jeff has developed an abiding interest in meditation and mind-body spiritual practice that guides his life and professional work. Jeff now practices psychotherapy from an existential-psychodynamic perspective, believing that when we embrace life fully, a great peace can be found.

Heather Conran-Paul, R.Psych

Heather is the lead supervisor for Assessment Services Team.
Heather is a Registered Psychologist and has been in private practice since 1991. She holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology with a minor in Sociology, a Bachelor of Education and a Master of Educational Psychology and Measurement. She has worked in the education field as a Teacher, Vice Principal, Principal, Guidance Counselor and School Psychologist. She has held positions of Graduate Studies Instructor at Memorial University. Heather has also worked in the health care and justice settings. She has provided locum services for psychology to the Labrador Regional Health Authority for both children and adults. Heather has served on many community agencies and organizations including a founding Co-Chair of the Central Committee Against Family Violence, Chair of Family Justice Services Advisory Committee, and Provincial Chair of Alternative Measures Advisory committee. She held the position of Chair of the Newfoundland and Labrador Psychology Board for nine years. She is a member of the Canadian Psychological Association, the Canadian ADHD Resource Alliance (CADDRA) and the Association of Psychology of Newfoundland and Labrador (APNL).

Bryn is a registered psychologist (provisional) in Newfoundland and Labrador with a masters degree in clinical and counselling psychology from Adler Graduate Professional School in Toronto. Bryn has experience assisting individuals with anxiety, depression, relationship issues, self-esteem and life transitions. Her practice is culturally and 2SLGBTQIA+ affirming and she believes that a strong therapeutic relationship is the key to creating a safe and non-judgemental environment for clients to explore their lived experience. Bryn takes a person-centred approach, integrating aspects of Cognitive Behavioural, Interpersonal, and Solution-Focused therapies.
